Intended Use

FitCam is intended to measure, track, and monitor physical activity and therapeutic exercise performed by patients as part of a rehabilitation or remote therapeutic monitoring program.

FitCam enables patients and healthcare providers to track exercise activity and progress over time. FitCam is intended for use under the direction of a healthcare professional.

FitCam is not intended to provide a diagnosis or to replace the clinical judgment, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment provided by a qualified healthcare professional.

How FitCam Works

FitCam is a software application that supports patients participating in programs prescribed or managed by their healthcare providers.

Depending on the program assigned by the healthcare provider, FitCam may allow patients to:

Access prescribed therapeutic exercises and educational content.
Record and track physical activity and exercise.
Report information about symptoms, pain, function, sleep, or other aspects of their health relevant to their care program.
Complete questionnaires and assessments assigned by their healthcare provider.
View their activity and progress over time.
Share relevant information with their healthcare provider and care team.
Communicate with their care team when communication features are available as part of their program.

Available features may vary depending on the patient's healthcare provider and assigned program.

Using FitCam

Use FitCam according to the instructions provided in the application and by your healthcare provider.

Only perform exercises or activities that have been recommended or approved for you by your healthcare provider. Follow the prescribed frequency, duration, intensity, and other instructions associated with your care program.

When FitCam asks you to enter information about your health, symptoms, activity, or exercise, provide information that is as accurate and complete as reasonably possible.

Your healthcare provider may use information collected through FitCam as one source of information in managing your care.

Important Safety Information

FitCam is intended to support the monitoring of physical activity and therapeutic exercise. It is not intended for emergency medical use.

FitCam does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or the clinical judgment of your healthcare provider. Do not disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of information displayed in FitCam.

Follow the treatment and exercise recommendations provided by your healthcare professional.

Stop exercising and contact your healthcare provider if you experience unexpected or significant pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, weakness, or other concerning symptoms during or following an exercise or activity.

If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical attention. Do not use FitCam to request emergency assistance.

Measurements and Patient-Reported Information

Information displayed by FitCam may include data entered by the patient, information obtained from compatible devices or services, and information generated from activity performed within or recorded by the application.

Measurements and patient-reported information may be affected by factors including device availability, user input, connectivity, permissions, and the manner in which an activity is performed or recorded.

Do not make significant changes to your treatment or prescribed exercise program based solely on information displayed by FitCam. Discuss questions or concerns about your results with your healthcare provider.

Technical Requirements

FitCam requires a compatible device and may require internet access to provide certain functionality.

Some features may require permission to access device capabilities or health and activity information. If required permissions are disabled, some FitCam features may not function or may provide incomplete information.

Keep the FitCam application and your device operating system updated to supported versions when updates are available.

Privacy and Security

FitCam uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect patient information.

Patients should protect access to their device and account credentials and should not share passwords or authentication information with unauthorized individuals.
